The Golden Skate Sweepstakes (“Promotion”) FULL OFFICIAL RULES
  1. PROMOTION OVERVIEW AND TERMS.
    THERE IS NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY TO ENTER. A PURCHASE OR DONATION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. This Promotion is offered by the Minnesota RollerGirls, LLC, (“Sponsor”) offering eligible Participants the chance to win one of the following prizes: 4 winners will each receive a pair of season tickets to the Sponsor's home games for season 13. Participation in the Promotion is open only to individual legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry (together with all other eligibility and participation criteria as specified herein, a “Participant”). Employees, staff, officers, directors and league members of the Sponsor, together with their immediate families (parent, child, sibling and spouse) are not eligible to enter and participate in the Promotion. Participants do not need to be present to win. The Promotion is void where prohibited or to the extent restricted by law.

    This document comprises the official “Rules” of the Promotion and shall govern and apply to all activity arising out of and related to the Promotion. In the event of a conflict between the Rules and any other official Promotion related communications by the Sponsor, these Rules shall govern. By participating in this Promotion, and as a condition to claiming, redeeming and use of any Promotion price, you agree these Rules will govern all aspects of your relationship with the Promotion, including its Sponsor. These rules cannot be modified or superseded except by the Sponsor, in its reasonable discretion, in a written revision to these Rules posted on its website: www.mnrollergirls.com.
  2. PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION.
    1. ENTRY. To enter Promotion for prizes, Participants must post on social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and use the hashtag #GoldenSkate between the dates of June 1, 2016 and September 30, 2016.
    2. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE REDEMPTION. Winners will be notified through Instagram.
    3. ODDS OF WINNING. Odds of winning depend on number of Participants.
  3. PRIZES AND ACTUAL RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”). Each pair of season tickets has an ARV of $84.00. There will be 4 pair of season tickets given away for Sponsor's home games for Season 13.
  4. GENERAL PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
    1. All activity arising out of and relating to the Promotion is subject to verification and/or auditing for compliance with the Rules and Participants agree to reasonably and timely cooperate with Sponsor concerning verification. In the event of non-cooperation or suspected evidence of non-compliance with the Rules, as determined in Sponsor’s reasonable discretion, a Participant’s continuing participation in any aspect of the Promotion may be suspended or terminated and/or award or retention of Promotion prices may be forfeited. No responsibility is assumed for information not received from Participants, or inaccurate information provided by Participants.
    2. The Promotion and its continuing terms and conditions, benefits and participation are offered to Participants at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
    3. Sponsor reserves the right to make all decisions, in its discretion, arising out of or relating to instances of suspected abuse, fraud, error or anomalies in the operation of the Promotion, including but not limited to any interpretation, activity or suspected violation relating to the Promotion, the Rules or official Promotion communications.
    4. Except where prohibited, Participants in the Promotion agree that (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or any benefits received, or the administration of the Promotion, shall be resolved individually, with out resort to any class action, and exclusively by arbitration, to take place in the state of Minnesota, pursuant to the Rules of the American Arbitration Association, then in effect; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in the Promotion but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will a Participant be permitted to obtain awards for and Participants hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
    5. Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules, or the rights and obligations of Participants and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed and construed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflicts of law doctrine.
    6. By entry and participation in the Promotion, Participants agree that the City of St. Paul, State of Minnesota, United States will be the exclusive forum for any formal dispute resolution.
    7. Sponsor reserves the right to limit or restrict, upon reasonable notice, participation in the Promotion to any person at any time for any reason.
    8. SPONSOR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND (WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE), INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SPONSOR SHALLNOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR THOSE GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES OFFERED BY SUPPLIERS OF PRIZES. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL SPONSOR BE HELD RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR A PARTICIPANT’S USE OF THE INFORMATION AND/OR PRODUCTS PROVIDED AND/OR MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE PROMOTIONOR FOR ERRORS OR ANOMALIES RSULTING IN THE UNINTENEDED OR ERRONEOUS PARTICIAPTION, AWARD OF PRIZES OR OTHER BENEFITS UNDER THE PROMOTION TO PARTICIPANTS. SPONSOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND RELATED TO A PARTICIPANT’S PARTICIPATION OR INABILITY TO PARTICIATE INT EH PROMONTION, WHETHER THE DAMAGES ARE DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL.
    9. FURTHER, BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION AND/OR ACCEPTING A PRIZE, A PARTICIPANT, A WINNER, AGREE THAT THE SPONSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR, AND WILL BE HELD HARMLESS BY WINNER AGAINST ANY INJURIES, LOSSES, TAX LIABILITIES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LIABLITY FOR ANY DAMAGE, INJURY OR LOSS TO PERSON, INCLUDING DEATH OR PROPERTY, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY TO, OR ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTION OR RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF A PRIZE, PARTICIPATION IN ANY PRIZE-RELATED ACTIVITY, OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTION.
    10. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABLITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; THEREFORE THE ABOVE LIMTATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY.
    11. By participating in this Promotion, you grant Sponsor the absolute and irrevocable right and permission to the use of your name, voice and likeness for the purposes of the Sponsor’s advertising, promotion and publicity without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. These uses include, but are not limited to illustrations, bulletins, exhibitions, videotapes, reprints, reproductions, publications, advertisements, and any promotional, internal or external materials and/or communications in any medium now known or later developed, including the Internet.
    12. Participation and receipt of prizes may have tax consequences. Any costs or expenses not explicitly stated in these Rules as Sponsor’s responsibility are the sole responsibility of the Participants, including, without limitation, taxation relating to a Participants acceptance and use of a Promotion price and no-specified costs and expenses relating to Promotion prizes.
